Mobile Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic

Location: Navasota, Texas Area

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic to join our team in the Navasota, Texas area. This position requires a mechanic who can travel to job sites and customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment in the field. Experience working on Humvees, trailers, skid steers, and diesel-powered equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and job site locations to perform field repairs and maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues
• Repair and maintain:
  • Humvees
  • Military and commercial trailers
  • Skid steers
  • Heavy equipment and diesel vehicles
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs
• Troubleshoot equipment failures quickly and efficiently
• Maintain service records and communicate repair needs with customers and management
• Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic required
• Mobile mechanic or field service experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics
• Experience working on military vehicles is a plus
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
