Position Summary
The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
%CF; Aides in cleaning inside and outside the venue.
%CF; Properly stores and removes garbage and soiled linens.
%CF; Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of dish station, the kitchen and the BOH area in accordance with Health Department.
%CF; Follow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team player.
%CF; Possesses in-depth knowledge of the dish machine.
%CF; Possesses in-depth knowledge of proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies.
%CF; Communicates product needs to the chefs and/or purchaser.
%CF; Properly sets-up dish station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
%CF; Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
%CF; Portrays a positive and professional attitude.
%CF; Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.

%CF; Candidate must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
