Duties

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, step vans and other commercial vehicles adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

• Load, unload, and secure packages using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary, ensuring items are handled with care.

• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience during each delivery.

• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries accurately.

• Assist with warehouse activities including stock movement, inventory checks, and maintaining a clean work environment.

• Perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and ensure the vehicle is always in optimal condition.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on route driving and customer service skills.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles

• Ability to lift heavy packages frequently and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes or pallets using pallet jacks.

• Warehouse experience is advantageous for handling inventory and loading/unloading procedures.

• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques, safety protocols, and proper package handling procedures.

• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
