Responsibilities
Manage daily inquiries from our policyholders regarding their current coverage and billing questions.
Process routine policy changes and updates with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that every client interaction is handled with care and consistency.
Document client conversations thoroughly in our system so everyone on the team stays informed.
Assist in resolving minor claims issues by acting as a bridge between the client and the insurance carrier.
Review upcoming renewals and reach out to clients to ensure they still feel confident in their current protection.
Requirements
Active Property and Casualty Insurance License in Illinois.
Previous experience working in an insurance agency or customer support role.
Strong comfort level using computers, specifically with agency management software and email.
Ability to clearly explain complex insurance coverage options to people from all walks of life.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others solve problems.
Basic understanding of commercial and personal lines of insurance.
