Kitchen Lead – Pita Kitchen Avondale

Pita Kitchen Avondale is looking for a Kitchen Lead who wants real responsibility in a fast-paced Mediterranean kitchen. This role is for a cook who’s ready to lead the team on the floor, not just work a station.

You’ll take ownership of the line during service, guide the crew, help manage flow and timing, and support kitchen operations day to day. We’re looking for someone who leads by example and cares about both the food and the people making it.

Day-to-day focus:

• Directing the line during high-volume periods
• Coaching cooks on technique, speed, and consistency
• Supporting prep, inventory awareness, and station readiness
• Upholding food safety and cleanliness standards

Who we’re looking for:

• Experience in busy restaurant kitchens
• Proven ability to lead or train others on the line
• Strong work ethic and calm under pressure
• Passion for quality Mediterranean food
