Substitute Teacher

Teachers Now is hiring Substitute Teachers to support local schools throughout the College Station, TX area. As a Substitute Teacher, you'll play an important role in maintaining continuity in the classroom by following lesson plans, supporting students, and creating a positive learning environment when the regular teacher is absent.

As a Substitute Teacher, you will:

• Follow teacher lesson plans and guide students through daily instruction
• Maintain a structured, respectful, and productive classroom environment
• Manage student behavior and keep students engaged throughout the school day
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess as needed
• Communicate effectively with school administrators and staff regarding student behavior or concerns

For long-term Substitute Teacher assignments, additional responsibilities may include lesson planning and providing enhanced classroom support.

• Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate's Degree
• At least one year of childcare, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or related experience preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional
• Passion for supporting student learning in a K-12 school environment
