Status: Full Time – Non-Exempt
Reports to: Outpatient Services Manager

- Purpose and Scope of Position
This position is responsible for clerical support for surgery, endoscopy and infusion under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures. In doing so, transcribes physician orders into the electronic health record (EHR), assembles and maintains patient charts, answers telephone calls, and schedules procedures in the EHR.
This position interacts with providers, nurses, technicians, and patients.

B. Job Requirements
- Required Qualifications
- Medical assistant certification or CNA license
- Healthcare provider CPR Certification, or ability to receive in 90 days
- Managerial Experience
- N/A
- Special Requirements
- Must be able to reason independently and work with minimal guidance.
- Must be able to interpret data and make sound judgments based on those interpretations.
- Must deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring tact, judgment, and poise.
- Must be able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and schedules.
- Must be able to maintain good working relationships with all co-workers and the general public and use good judgment in recognizing scope and authority.
