Budtender / Cannabis Sales Associate

Green Genie Cannabis Co. is looking for outgoing, confident, energetic, and sales-driven people to join our team.

This is a fast-paced, highly social position. We're looking for people who enjoy talking to customers, have a strong professional presence, take pride in how they present themselves, and know how to create a great customer experience.

Cannabis experience is a plus, but not required. We can teach product knowledge. We're primarily looking for personality, professionalism, reliability, and the ability to sell.

What You'll Do

• Greet and engage customers

• Learn what customers are looking for and recommend appropriate products

• Explain current deals and promotions

• Upsell and cross-sell products

• Build relationships with new and returning customers

• Learn cannabis products, brands, and product categories

• Maintain a clean and professional sales environment

• Work with the team to achieve daily sales goals

• Provide fast, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service

Experience in retail sales, serving, bartending, hospitality, beauty, fitness, promotional work, or other customer-facing positions is a plus.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must have valid government-issued identification

• Must meet applicable Michigan cannabis-industry employment requirements

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must be available for a flexible retail schedule

• Weekend and evening availability is preferred
