Job Description
Kitchen Expeditor (Expo)
$13–$16/hr · Paid weekly · ServSafe covered · Ford City, PA
You are the final checkpoint before our food hits the floor. Your eye for detail is what sets Ryan's apart.
Why you'll love working here:
- $13–$16/hr, based on experience, paid weekly.
- Performance bonuses you can actually predict — attendance, time-off requests through 7shifts, and the quality of what leaves your window.
- ServSafe certification covered.
- Flexible hours, full-time or part-time. Tell us what you need and we'll build around it.
- Meal discounts — 50% on shift, 25% off shift.
- Most holidays off. Spend the time with your family.
Who we are:
We cook from scratch and we're busy — a full dining room in a 6,200 sq. ft. timber-frame building, and the place people in this valley have been driving to since 2017. Volume like that is exactly why the last look at every plate matters. We live by Ryan's Three A's: Atmosphere, the room and the energy. Ammunition, scratch food made right every single time. Attitude, our team — the part you can't buy.
Your Role:
- You're the bridge between the kitchen and the dining room, making sure every plate looks right, every order is complete, and every meal hits the table hot.
- Manage the flow of tickets between kitchen and front of house.
- Check every plate for quality, accuracy, and presentation.
- Keep cooks and servers communicating through the rush.
- Plate and garnish during peak; keep the expo line clean and organized.
- Support the kitchen with light prep and restocking.
What we're looking for:
- Sharp eye for detail and a memory for tickets.
- Strong, direct communication — expo is not a quiet job.
- Composure under pressure; you set the tempo.
- Professional, reliable, punctual.
- Kitchen or expo experience preferred; we'll train the right person.
- Evenings and weekends, reliable transportation, legal working age.
Where it goes:
Expo is the best seat in the house for learning how a restaurant actually runs — every station, every ticket, every night. It's where we look first when we need someone to run a shift.
Apply today — online or in person at Ryan's Creek House.
Equal opportunity employer.
