Floor Tech Job Summary:

Shores Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the attractiveness and cleanliness of our floors, while ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents, staff, and visitors. Floor Tech Responsibilities:

• Dust and wet mop floors to maintain a clean and attractive environment

• Buff, strip, and wax floors to preserve their appearance and extend their lifespan

• Clean baseboards and perform other light maintenance tasks as needed

• Meet the physical demands of the job, including stooping, bending, reaching, lifting, and kneeling

• Work independently, with occasional supervision, to complete tasks efficiently and effectively

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer service

Floor Tech Requirements:

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job

• Ability to work independently with occasional supervision

• Pleasant attitude and strong work ethic

• Must pass level 2 background fingerprinting with an Eligible status
