Showroom Attendant

Northwest Houston | $17/hr | Full-Time | MondayFriday

Openwork is hiring a Fittings/Showroom Attendant in Northwest Houston! Were looking for a dependable, customer-focused team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

• Keep the showroom clean, organized, stocked, and customer-ready.
• Organize shelves, bins, merchandise, and product displays.
• Prepare, label, and make minor repairs/assembly to products as needed.
• Complete inventory checks and maintain showroom stock levels.
• Accurately fill orders and verify size, grade, alloy, quality, and heat numbers.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow special instructions on pick tickets.
• Safely operate forklifts, threading machines, and shrink-fast guns.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Follow all safety, PPE, and company policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual required.
• Steel manufacturing experience highly preferred.
• Ability to read pick tickets, use tape measures, and perform basic math.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift/carry steel parts up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, climb, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods.
• Must pass a background and drug/alcohol screening.
• Professional appearance and proper PPE required.
• Must be flexible and available for overtime, including short/last-minute notice.

MondayFriday | 7 AM or 8 AM start | 8-hour shifts + overtime as needed

$17/hour
