As an Early Preschool Teacher, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom where children can explore, learn through play, and develop the social, emotional, and academic skills needed for future success.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a warm, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
- Plan and implement engaging lesson plans and hands-on learning experiences aligned with our curriculum.
- Foster children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Encourage independence while providing nurturing guidance and support.
- Maintain active supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Communicate daily with families regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate classroom documentation and records.
- Keep the classroom clean, organized, and compliant with Texas Child Care Regulation standards.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership to provide exceptional care and education.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- CDA, Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or related coursework is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass all required background checks and meet Texas Child Care Regulation requirements.
