MS-IL Staffing & Packaging is NOW HIRING a Bilingual Production Lead for a client located on the West Side of Indianapolis, IN.

Position: Bilingual Production Lead
Pay: $21.00–$24.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Shift: 1st Shift
Location: West Indianapolis, IN

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Bilingual Production Lead to help oversee a team responsible for assembling custom food boxes and bags in a warehouse/production environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, keeping production organized, motivating a team, and jumping in to help when needed. The Production Lead will help ensure daily production goals are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Spanish/English bilingual communication skills are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and lead production employees to complete daily food box and bag assembly goals.
  • Lead by example and work directly on production lines when needed.
  • Assign tasks and help keep employees productive and on schedule.
  • Motivate team members to meet goals for productivity, accuracy, efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Communicate personnel or performance concerns to the appropriate staffing and management teams.
  • Use inventory software to create daily picks, locate products, and assist with production planning.
  • Assist with warehouse duties including receiving, put-away, replenishment, order fulfillment, production, and cycle counts.
  • Communicate production updates and important information with supervisors and other warehouse departments.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, sanitation, and warehouse procedures.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment (PIT) in accordance with company and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Operate packaging equipment as required.
  • Adapt to changing production priorities and warehouse needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
  • Previous Team Lead, Production Lead, Warehouse Lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, food production, packaging, or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with employees and management.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math and accurate counting skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse inventory processes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, accountable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • PIT/forklift experience preferred.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull product using a manual pallet jack.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse, mechanical, and packaging equipment.
  • Comfortable working primarily in a warehouse/production environment, including refrigerated and freezer areas.
  • Exposure to moderate noise, dust, odors, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends or evening hours when business needs require.
