Staff Accountant

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the accounting operations of a respected client organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working with financial data, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner
• Support audits, budgeting, forecasting, and other accounting projects
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of accounting experience; public accounting or industry experience welcomed
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
