Our client seeks an Applications Developer/Analyst to support and enhance enterprise business applications in a municipal IT environment. The role includes application development, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, testing, and user support while partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $30.00 to $35.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:- Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications, reports, and system interfaces.
- Support application upgrades, patching, migrations, and testing activities.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
- Work with end users, vendors, and technical teams to resolve incidents and implement enhancements.
- Assist with application migrations and system modernization initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- 1+ year of application development experience.
- Experience with C#, .NET, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Hands-on SQL development experience.
- Knowledge of relational databases.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to support production environments and work in a multi-platform technical environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
