Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and vision to the nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care and optimal operational efficiency

• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational goals

• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among the nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

• Support the Executive Team in making informed decisions about nursing operations, staffing, and budgeting

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth transitions and effective care delivery

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, quality improvement projects, and patient satisfaction surveys

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accrediting agencies, and industry standards

Requirements:

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan

• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (or equivalent leadership role)

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and procedures

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
