Job Description
Primary Care Provider – MD, DO, or Nurse Practitioner
Visiting Docs is seeking a compassionate and experienced Primary Care Provider—MD, DO, or Nurse Practitioner—to join our growing family practice. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Schedule Requirements
Specific schedules will be discussed based on the candidate’s availability and the needs of the practice. Candidates must be available to:
Work until 7:00 p.m. on selected weekday shifts

Work two Sundays per month from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Position Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care services in a family practice setting
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions
Perform routine physicals, preventive care, and health screenings
Develop and document appropriate treatment plans
Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
Treat patients across a broad age range; providers who do not treat very young children may still be considered
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted New York State license as an MD, DO, or Nurse Practitioner
Nurse Practitioners must have completed a minimum of 3,600 clinical practice hours and be eligible to practice independently
Must already be actively enrolled and approved as a participating provider with both Medicare and New York State Medicaid
Active and unrestricted DEA registration
Primary care or family practice experience
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW)
Bilingual in Spanish or Creole

Experience providing gynecological or women’s health services is a significant plus
