Shift Available:

Full Time, Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm

and Part-Time Weekends 10am-4:30pm

John Scott House Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking to hire an Activities Assistant! We are looking for someone who is creative, energetic, friendly, and outgoing! The ideal candidate must enjoy working with older adults and in a team environment. Join our team!

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assists in planning and implementation of organized groups and one on one programs.

• Assist in developing a written comprehensive plan of care for each resident's activity program that identifies any problems or goals for each resident.

• Complete daily data logbooks and quarterly reports on individual residents as assigned

• Lead/oversee residents engaged in scheduled activity programs to promote physical, social, and mental well-being of residents

• Transport residents to and from activity locations

• Assist with meal pass and snacks as requested

• Develop and maintain a good working report with resident, family members, and other departments

• Must be able to maintain composure in emergency situations

• Must be able to manage time efficiently and assure confidentiality of all residents

Activities Assistant Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing

• High School Diploma or GED
