Generator Technician III

We are hiring a Senior Generator Technician III to lead complex diagnostics, repairs, testing, and mentoring activities for commercial diesel and natural gas generators.

This role is ideal for an expert technician who enjoys solving challenging technical issues while mentoring junior technicians.

• Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Lead complex repairs

• Generator commissioning
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Mentor Generator Technicians I & II
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics
• Complete service documentation
• Work in shop and field environments

• 5+ years commercial generator experience
• Expert troubleshooting skills
• Generator controls
• Diesel and natural gas engines
• Load bank testing
• AC/DC electrical systems
• Ability to mentor technicians
• Experience with Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, MTU, Detroit Diesel or similar equipment
