About the Role:

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), licensed in the State of Ohio, to lead our nursing team during the night shift. As the Night Shift Nurse Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive high-quality care and support throughout the night. You’ll be the primary clinical leader during overnight hours, working closely with administrative and medical staff to maintain safety, comfort, and continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Genuine interest in geriatric and long-term care nursing

• Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills

• Physically capable and emotionally stable to manage overnight responsibilities

• Familiarity with facility policies, procedures, and emergency protocols

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing

• 1 year experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct rounds across all units to assess resident care and staff performance

• Identify and report any issues or concerns to the Administrator or on-call leadership

• Monitor and document changes in residents’ conditions, ensuring timely interventions

• Collaborate with other departments as needed (e.g., dietary, pharmacy, therapy) to support resident care

• Supervise nursing personnel across all units during the night shift

• Support staff education, orientation, and training as needed

• Review and update nursing care plans to reflect current resident needs
