Job Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Electrical Assembler for a manufacturing client in the Lacon, IL area. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, installing, and testing electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience, the ability to read schematics, and experience bending conduit and routing cable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to assemble and install electrical systems and components.
- Perform wiring, cable routing, conduit bending, equipment installation, and electrical testing using hand and power tools.
- Inspect completed work to identify hazards, defects, or required repairs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve project-specific challenges.
- Maintain documentation and identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Electrical wiring experience and basic electrical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Experience working with AC and DC electrical circuits
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Medium-voltage/high-amperage experience
- Knowledge of NEC Code requirements (Preferred)
