The Opportunity
We are currently hiring for FOUR Production Operator positions.
As a Production Operator, you'll operate trained and validated machinery and equipment while producing quality products according to customer requirements, job travelers, work instructions, and established quality standards.
You'll play an important role in making sure our products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and consistently.

Work Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
Consistent 4-day workweek

What You'll Do
Perform production operations according to job travelers and work instructions using machinery and equipment you've been trained and validated to operate.
Obtain first-piece approval before beginning production.
Inspect products according to part drawings and proof plans using calibrated measuring equipment.
Maintain accurate production counts throughout all operations.
Properly identify and record the work and test/inspection status of work in process.
Record Statistical Process Control (SPC) data as required.
Accurately enter job-specific information into the Sturges integrated computer system.
Follow all safety, quality, HR policies, procedures, and work instructions applicable to the position.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and quality goals.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is reliable, quality-focused, safety-conscious, and takes pride in doing things right the first time.
Required:
Strong attention to detail.
Basic computer proficiency.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read a standard and metric tape measure.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to remain alert and safety-conscious throughout the workday.
Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED.
Sewing experience in a manufacturing environment.
Production assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Previous manufacturing or machine-operation experience.
Experience using measuring equipment and following detailed work instructions.
