Pay Rate: $17/18hr

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Telehandler Forklift Operator to support our commercial roofing operations. The primary responsibility of this role is operating a telehandler forklift to safely transport roofing materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the job site. When equipment operation is not required, the operator will assist the roofing crew with general labor duties to help maintain productivity and ensure projects stay on schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a telehandler forklift safely and efficiently on commercial construction sites.
• Load, unload, lift, and transport roofing materials, pallets, and equipment.
• Inspect the telehandler before each shift and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies while operating equipment.
• Coordinate with roofing crews to ensure materials are delivered where needed.
• Assist with general labor tasks, including material handling, job site cleanup, and supporting roofing crews when not operating the telehandler.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor.

Qualifications

• "Experience operating a telehandler forklift is required"
• Previous experience in general labor, construction, or commercial roofing preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
