Responsibilities of a Culinary Director:
Collaborate with the culinary team to plan nutritious and appealing menus that meet dietary requirements and preferences.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
Lead and inspire the dietary staff, providing training and guidance to ensure the highest level of service.
Monitor and track the nutritional needs and preferences of residents, making adjustments to menus as needed.
Ensure compliance with all dietary regulations and guidelines, including food safety and sanitation.
Assist in the development and management of the dietary budget.
Qualifications of a Culinary Director:
Previous experience in dietary management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for seniors.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Strong communication skills.
