Great Company is a leading manufacturer in the industry, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and employee satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team for the third shift hours.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance operations during the third shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, machine maintenance, and leadership. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities and maintaining our equipment to the highest standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians and staff during the third shift
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
- Train and mentor maintenance team members
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize production downtime
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and implement solutions
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations promptly and effectively
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage maintenance budgets and control costs
- Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities
- Stay updated on the latest maintenance technologies and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to work third shift hours (typically 11 PM - 7 AM)
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
- Experience with predictive maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of automation and robotics maintenance
