Behavioral Health Technician

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our healthcare team at Wellbrook Recovery. The Behavioral Health Technician will provide one-on-one support to our patients with mental health and substance abuse issues, working under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional to implement treatment plans and provide ongoing care and support for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to patients to help them manage their mental health or substance abuse issues

• Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress

• Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional

• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

• Provide crisis intervention as needed

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care

• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest treatment approaches and techniques

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment
