General Manager

Wanda's Winnebagos is seeking a General Manager to lead day-to-day operations onsite in Mountain View, CA.

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the business, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a high-quality customer and team experience. This role combines leadership, accountability, and a hands-on approach to drive results.

You will manage day-to-day operations, coach and develop staff, and collaborate across functions to ensure goals are met while maintaining strong standards for service, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflows and consistent execution of business priorities

• Lead, coach, and manage team performance, including scheduling, training, and accountability

• Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement action plans

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable operational standards, including safety and quality expectations

• Manage customer escalations professionally and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in a leadership or management role with responsibility for operations and team outcomes

• Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable to performance expectations

• Solid understanding of basic operational planning, budgeting concepts, and performance tracking

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with staff and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing customer-facing operations or multi-faceted day-to-day business functions

• Track record of improving processes, service quality, and operational efficiency

• Familiarity with performance metrics and using data to guide operational improvements

• Experience handling scheduling and staffing needs while maintaining coverage and service standards
