Shift Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 6am-3pm

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Services Director to oversee the daily operations of our Food Service Department at New Haven Manor. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, ensure compliance with health regulations, and deliver high-quality meals and services to our senior living and adult care residents.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage menus that meet nutritional and regulatory standards
Supervise, train, and support dietary personnel and kitchen staff
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure cleanliness and safety
Order food, supplies, and equipment within budget
Maintain food cost and inventory controls
Create and manage staff schedules
Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and maintain survey readiness
Collaborate with nursing, administration, and care teams to accommodate resident dietary needs and preferences
Qualifications
3–5 years of food service management experience (healthcare/assisted living preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, or related field preferred
Knowledge of dietary regulations and special diets
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
ServSafe Certification or Food Handlers Certificate required
Experience with state/DOH survey readiness a plus
