Responsibilities:
- Support classroom activities and assist lead teachers with lesson implementation.
- Engage children in educational play and foster their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the facility.
- Provide individualized attention to children as needed, adapting to their unique learning styles.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement creative lesson plans.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education coursework preferred.
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to different classroom environments.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
- Passion for early childhood education and a nurturing demeanor.
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
