Packaging Operations Associate & Junior Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

Based in Rochester, PA 15074, you’ll be the steady hand that keeps product moving and quality uncompromised. Picture your day: you arrive, review work orders, check measurements with a tape measure, and verify that components meet spec. You’ll assemble skids, crates, boxes, and cartons, then pack finished goods precisely to guidelines so everything ships safe and sound. Throughout the shift, you document what you pack and what you inspect, keep your work area spotless, and pitch in with teammates to hit daily targets.

A day in your work boots

• Begin by inspecting parts and materials, flagging any defect or variance before packing.
• Build sturdy skids, crates, boxes, and cartons to fit product requirements.
• Pack products per exact specifications, labeling and recording as required.
• Keep the packing zone clean, organized, and ready for the next job.
• Coordinate with your crew to meet or beat production goals.
• Complete documentation for packing and quality checks accurately and on time.
• Report discrepancies immediately and help troubleshoot root causes.
• Support onboarding by showing new teammates correct packing and QC steps.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to boost packing efficiency and product quality.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in packaging, quality control, or closely related hands-on work.
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
• Strong organization and time management; reliable and self-directed.
• Comfort working independently and within a team setting.
• Familiarity with quality standards, inspection methods, and basic documentation.
