Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for investment funds.
- Maintain general ledger activity and perform account reconciliations.
- Record journal entries and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Calculate and process capital calls, investor distributions, and partner allocations.
- Assist with Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Prepare supporting schedules for tax reporting and year-end financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Analyze financial results and prepare management reports.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Previous fund accounting, private equity, investment management, real estate investment, or alternative investment experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with accounting or fund management software is a plus.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
