Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment in assigned areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Dust and polish furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors.
Change bed linens and make beds.
Replenish towels, toiletries, and other supplies as needed.
Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly.
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to the supervisor.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored properly.
Follow health and safety regulations and company standards.
Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, and ironing (if applicable).
Respect the privacy and personal belongings of clients or guests.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safe handling.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift/move up to [insert weight, e.g., 25 lbs].
Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness.
Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed.
Work Environment:
May involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
Use of cleaning agents and equipment daily.
