We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Caregiver to join our team and deliver compassionate and personalized care to our elderly and disabled clients in the Phoenix community. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will play a vital role in creating a positive impact on the lives of our clients, their families, and our community.
Responsibilities:
Provide in-home care to clients with varying levels of needs, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and medication management
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care delivery
Maintain accurate records of client care, including progress notes, medication schedules, and vital signs
Collaborate with the care team to create personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client
Provide support with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care tasks
Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to infection control procedures and safety protocols
Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in the healthcare or senior care industry preferred
Ability to lift, transfer, and mobilize clients as needed; must be physically able to provide care with minimal assistance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a focus on providing dignified care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexibility to adapt to changing situations
