Job Title: Manufacturing Systems Administrator Location: Perry, GA Type: Contract Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing systems and related hardware/software.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Install system updates, patches, and approved software enhancements.
- Support end users by diagnosing and resolving manufacturing system issues.
- Assist with system integrations, configuration changes, and equipment connectivity.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues.
- Perform system backups and assist with data recovery when required.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and recovery testing.
- Conduct routine system health checks and audits to identify and correct operational issues.
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, and system security in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate system status, maintenance activities, and incidents to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to cybersecurity, data integrity, and change management.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other team members.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or business systems.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems, networking fundamentals, and hardware.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a production environment.
- Experience with MES, SCADA, PLC-connected systems, or industrial automation (preferred).
- Experience with SQL databases and reporting tools (preferred).
- Knowledge of barcode printing, vision systems, or manufacturing peripherals (preferred).
- Experience working in a food or regulated manufacturing environment (preferred).
