SR. TAX CLIENT MANAGER
ABOUT YOU
You are the person clients trust with their most important financial decisions.
You have spent years in the accounting and tax world, and you have developed something most technical professionals never do: the ability to translate complex strategies into clear, confident advice that clients can act on. You don't just prepare returns — you think ahead, you plan proactively, and you treat every client's financial situation as if it were your own.
You are equally comfortable in the details of a tax return and in a strategic advisory conversation with a business owner or high-net-worth individual. You hold yourself to a high standard. You are organized, self-directed, and emotionally intelligent enough to earn long-term client trust.
You want to work somewhere that values doing things the right way — a firm where excellence is expected, where your contributions are recognized, and where there is genuine room to grow.
If that describes the professional you have become, we want to hear from you.
WHO WE ARE
We don't file returns. We change financial outcomes.
Custom Accounting CPA is a nationally operating CPA and business advisory firm with 17 years of experience serving clients across all 50 states. We are not a reactive tax shop. We are proactive advisors who work year-round to reduce tax burdens, protect wealth, and help our clients make better financial decisions.
We specialize in strategic tax planning and advisory for small business owners and high-net-worth individuals. Our team is experienced, highly trained, and deeply committed to delivering outcomes that genuinely matter to the people who trust us. We are 100% virtual and operate on a modern, paperless technology stack.
Our clients stay because the results are real. Our team stays because the culture is worth it.
THE OPPORTUNITY
A senior role at the heart of our client relationships.
As Sr. Tax Client Manager, you are the primary advisor for a portfolio of clients. You own the relationship, lead strategic tax planning conversations, and ensure that every engagement is delivered at the standard our clients expect and deserve.
This is not a data-entry position or a compliance-only role. It is a senior advisory position for someone who is ready to lead client relationships, apply technical expertise to real-world planning scenarios, and grow with a firm that is building something meaningful.
In 12 months, the right person has a full client portfolio, strong client retention, and a compensation package that reflects the value they deliver — including base salary, performance bonus, and profit share.
From $75,000 per year · Bonus opportunities · Profit share · Fully remote
