SHOP & YARD LABORER
Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
$18.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Clean and maintain the shop, yard, and surrounding work areas.
- Clean and prepare pipes and other materials for use.
- Clear land by removing brush, debris, and unwanted materials.
- Trim and prune trees, shrubs, and other vegetation.
- Prepare and clear designated areas for the installation or placement of additional equipment.
- Load, unload, handle, and move materials as needed.
- Perform general cleanup, basic maintenance, and labor duties.
- Safely operate basic hand tools and equipment.
- Identify tasks requiring attention and take initiative to complete them.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of shop and yard duties.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and follow instructions.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to work in varying weather and shop conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
- Ability to safely handle and move pipes, equipment, and other materials.
- Basic experience using hand tools and equipment preferred.
- Commitment to following established workplace safety procedures.
