Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Orlando
Location: Orlando, FL
Shift: Part-Time (Every Other Weekend)
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and creative Activities Assistant to join our team! In this rewarding role, you'll help create memorable experiences for our residents through engaging activities that promote socialization, wellness, and fun.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assist with daily recreational activities, games, crafts, music, exercise, and special events.

• Encourage resident participation while creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.

• Build positive relationships with residents and families to develop meaningful activity programs.

• Provide one-on-one visits and individualized activities for residents needing additional engagement.

• Help promote residents' emotional, social, and physical well-being through creative programming.

• Set up, organize, and maintain activity areas and supplies.

• Document resident attendance and participation in activities.

• Assist with holiday celebrations, community events, and special outings as needed.

• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in activities, recreation, or a related field preferred.

• Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is a plus.

• Friendly, energetic, and compassionate personality.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

• Dependable, flexible, and a collaborative team player.
