Corporate Controller
Job Description
I'm partnering with a well-established commercial real estate company on Long Island to identify an experienced Controller to join their growing finance team.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside a highly respected, tenured CFO in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where your expertise will have a direct impact on the business.
What we're looking for:
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Commercial real estate accounting experience required
• Strong experience with MRI Software
• Cash management and cash forecasting experience
• Deep understanding of the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Experience building and improving reporting processes and internal controls
• Previous leadership experience managing a small accounting team (3–4 professionals)
• Public accounting experience combined with private industry experience is highly preferred
