Senior Technician

Schrock Innovations is hiring a confident, solution-focused Senior Technician to join our Omaha Service Center team. This experienced-level role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills who enjoys supporting junior staff and playing a key role in shaping our service experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Resolve advanced hardware, software, and networking issues independently (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
• Help customers understand their technology and recommend practical solutions that improve their experience
• Accurately document service events
• Serve as an escalation point for complex service tickets and customer concerns
• Travel to scheduled home visits using a company-provided vehicle
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to knowledge sharing
• Assist with inventory and workspace organization
• Support other Schrock Innovations locations when needed
• Support operational efficiency through documentation and process improvement
• Use and learn emerging technologies, including AI tools, to support internal workflows and enhance client interactions

What We’re Looking For:

• Available to work a full-time schedule: Wednesday to Saturday 10am – 6pm and Sunday 12pm -5pm
• 2+ years’ experience in technical support or IT services
• Comfortable promoting services and upgrades during client interactions
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple platforms
• Clear, confident communication with technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to mentor junior staff and promote services during client interactions
• Valid driver’s license to travel from the Service Center for home visits
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that include standing, bending, and kneeling
