Shop Helper (PartTime): Rock Falls, Illinois
Our customer in Rock Falls, Illinois, is looking for a reliable, handson individual to join their team as a Shop Helper to work parttime on 1st shift. This role is ideal for someone who is retired or looking for flexible, parttime work and enjoys staying active while helping around a farm and woodworking shop.
Responsibilities of the Shop Helper:
- Assist with general tasks around the farm and woodworking shop.
- Help with small projects using basic hand tools.
- Perform light woodworking and shop support tasks as needed.
- Assist with mowing and outdoor upkeep.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Support daytoday shop activities as requested.
Shop Helper Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous shop or handson experience required.
- Woodworking experience is a plus.
- Ability to use basic hand tools safely.
- Ability to perform light to moderate physical work.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, helpful attitude.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Pay for Shop Helper: $15.00/hour.
Type: Parttime, 1st Shift.
Schedule: 8am until between 12pm-2pm. 2/3 days per week, approximately 20+ hours per week.
