Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Nights)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a 13-week travel assignment in New Lenox, IL.


Contract Details
  • Nights, 12 hr nights, 24 hr GWW scheduled for 36 hours
  • Start Date: 9/7/2026
  • Contract: 13 Weeks
  • Location: New Lenox, IL
  • Hourly Pay: $ 34.00
  • Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  • Weekly Total Pay: $ 2164.00
  • Weekend Requirements: TBD
  • On Call Requirements: TBD
  • Patient ratio of 2:1 during labor
  • 1:1 for delivery or C-S Fetal Monitoring, IV Magnesium, C-Section Circulator/Recover
  • 2:1 Epidurals, IV Pitocin

The L&D RN cares for women during labor and childbirth, monitors the baby and the mother, coaches mothers, and assists doctors. The RN will prepare women and their families for the stages of giving birth and will help patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born.

The Birthing Center averages 200 births per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for the patient and infant throughout labor, birth, and immediate postpartum phase
  • Provide psychological and emotional support
  • Monitor the patient and newborn’s condition and escalate treatment as necessary

Compensation:

  • Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
  • Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 1 year of recent L&D experience
  • Must have Active IL License at time of submission
  • IL Nurse agency license in submittal profile
  • Must have and maintain current NRP and ACLS
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
