Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, workflow, organization, and cleanliness
- Manage receiving, staging, storage, and release of contents and materials
- Coordinate warehouse activities to support field operations and job timelines
- Ensure customer contents are properly received, labeled, inventoried, and stored
- Maintain accurate location tracking and chain-of-custody documentation
- Coordinate contents access, pack-backs, and releases with Operations and Production
- Ensure all contents are handled and stored according to company SOPs
- Track equipment, tools, and materials using approved inventory systems
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, inspected, and ready for deployment
- Monitor equipment availability and coordinate assignments
- Report missing, damaged, or unserviceable equipment
- Coordinate equipment repairs, maintenance, and replacements
- Supervise warehouse staff and technicians assigned to warehouse duties
- Assign daily tasks and manage workloads
- Train employees on SOPs, safety, and proper handling procedures
- Address performance concerns and communicate issues to Operations leadership
- Coordinate warehouse schedules for pack-outs, deliveries, and pack-backs
- Work closely with Operations and Project Managers to meet job timelines
- Maintain warehouse readiness for emergency response needs
- Maintain accurate warehouse, inventory, and contents records
- Track storage start and end dates
- Ensure documentation supports billing, storage charges, and audits
- Verify contents photos, inventories, and related records are complete
- Assist with resolving storage and contents-related discrepancies
- Maintain organization of the warehouse yard and vehicle staging areas
- Ensure vehicles are properly parked, secured, and maintained
- Report vehicle damage, maintenance needs, and safety concerns
- Conduct regular audits of inventory, storage, and equipment
- Identify discrepancies, losses, and process issues
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency
- Support implementation of new systems and procedures
- Stay current with restoration industry best practices
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Experience managing inventory, equipment, or warehouse operations preferred
- Restoration industry experience is a plus
- Ability to safely handle and move materials and contents as required
