Morning Childcare Assistant

Roxbury Day Care Center seeks part-time morning workers from 7:00-10:00 AM. A candidate with some childcare experience, patience, and compassion for young children is ideal.

Responsibilities include ensuring the care, safety, and well-being of all children in the group.

Implementing simple activities that are developmentally suitable for the age group is essential.

Assisting with cleaning duties, such as washing tables before and after breakfast and at shift end, is also required.

A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player are necessary.

Positions are available in Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Classrooms.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
• Ability to act as mediator between children.
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Excellent communication and instructional skills

• A Child Development Associate Certification is a desirable asset.
