We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented professional to support children and adolescents in a home-based setting. In this role, you will work closely with youth and their families to help build positive daily routines, reinforce behavioral goals, and support skill development in a safe and encouraging environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys making a meaningful difference through hands-on support, consistency, and collaboration.

**This is a Part-Time position. Total hours are variable and coordinated based on client needs and staff availability, offering a highly flexible schedule. Primary service hours align with after-school (afternoon/evenings) and weekends with expanded schedules during school breaks/summer.**

What You’ll Do
  • Provide in-home behavioral support to youth in accordance with individualized treatment plans and care goals.
  • Use positive behavior support strategies to encourage emotional regulation, coping skills, and appropriate social behaviors.
  • Assist with developing and implementing structured routines, activities, and skill-building exercises.
  • Observe, document, and communicate progress, behaviors, and concerns to the appropriate clinical or supervisory team members.
  • Support families by modeling effective behavior management techniques and reinforcing healthy interactions.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a calm presence during challenging situations.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing supervision as required.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or families in a behavioral health, education, social services, or related setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with youth and caregivers.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain composed in dynamic environments.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow treatment plans, take direction, and work independently in a home-based setting.
  • Basic computer or mobile documentation skills for completing notes and reports.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to client homes as scheduled.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in behavioral intervention, direct care, paraprofessional support, or youth mentoring.
  • Familiarity with applied behavior support, de-escalation techniques, or trauma-informed care.
  • Relevant certifications or training in behavioral health, CPR/First Aid, or crisis prevention, if applicable.
