Customer Service & Sales Associate | Jacksonville, NC | Future Opportunity
Job Description
FUTURE OPPORTUNITY
Computer Warriors accepts applications throughout the year so we can connect with strong candidates before our next opening becomes available.
We may not be actively filling this position today. Applying allows our team to consider you when a Wilmington opportunity becomes available that matches your experience, availability, and career goals.
HELP CUSTOMERS FEEL CONFIDENT ABOUT TECHNOLOGY
If you enjoy talking to people, learning technology step by step, and helping customers make confident decisions, this role may be a great fit.
Computer Warriors operates electronic repair centers in Wilmington and Jacksonville. We help customers solve frustrating technology problems through repairs, practical solutions, and clear education.
As a Customer Service & Sales Associate, you will set the tone for the customer experience. You will ask the right questions, explain options clearly, and help customers make informed decisions about repairs, upgrades, protection plans, and replacement devices.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This is a hybrid customer service and sales position. We use an educational sales approach, which means your job is to recommend and guide rather than pressure.
Most days involve frequent phone calls, walk-in conversations, repair updates, and customer follow-ups. We are looking for someone who stays patient when customers are frustrated, communicates clearly, and can remain productive during busy and slower periods.
During slower periods, you will follow up with customers, improve your product knowledge, organize the store, and prepare for the next rush.
SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. Regular hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional rotational Saturday shifts from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The typical Saturday rotation is two Saturdays on followed by four Saturdays off. When you work a Saturday, you will receive a half-day off during the week.
COMPENSATION
Base pay is $15 per hour plus performance bonuses.
Team members who consistently meet performance goals typically earn an additional $2 to $5 per hour, bringing typical total earnings to approximately $17 to $20 per hour.
The performance plan does not have a fixed earnings ceiling, so top performers may earn more.
BENEFITS
Eligible full-time team members receive:
- 100% employer-paid dental insurance
- 100% employer-paid vision insurance
- Medical insurance with Computer Warriors covering 50% of the premium
- 401(k) plan with employer match
- Nine paid holidays annually
- Ten vacation days per year, increasing to fifteen days after three years
- Employee discounts
- Company-sponsored training and certifications
- Opportunities for advancement
Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and company plan terms.
GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES
You will begin by learning our customer conversation flow, device check-in process, and service recommendations.
Over time, you will build confidence guiding customers through repairs, protection plans, upgrades, and replacement options.
You may also have opportunities to earn company-sponsored certifications such as CompTIA IT Fundamentals and CompTIA A+.
We generally require at least one year in this role before advancement. Future opportunities may include moving into a technician position, team leadership, store operations, administrative support, or small-business support.
Advancement depends on performance, demonstrated skills, business needs, and available openings.
