Medicare Advantage Agent - Independent Contractor (1099) Opportunity
Job Description
We're seeking experienced, self-motivated Medicare Sales Agents to join our team as independent contractors.
This is a remote 1099 opportunity designed for licensed agents who are comfortable working independently, managing their own sales activity, and building long-term relationships with Medicare-eligible clients.
As a Medicare Advantage Sales Agent, you will educate clients on available Medicare coverage options, help them evaluate plans based on their individual needs, and guide them through the enrollment process. Agents are expected to maintain consistent client follow-up, manage their sales pipeline, and remain compliant with all CMS, carrier, licensing, and certification requirements.
- Contact prospective Medicare clients follow up with assigned leads
- Ask targeted questions to understand each client’s healthcare coverage needs for the upcoming year
- Present Medicare Advantage options based on each client’s individual needs goals
- Educate clients on Medicare Advantage related insurance products
- Guide clients through the plan selection enrollment process
- Navigate multiple carrier websites, quoting tools insurance platforms efficiently
- Respond to client questions concerns with confidence, urgency professionalism
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the sales process
- Accurately track every lead, quote, appointment sale in the CRM
- Maintain required licensing, certifications carrier requirements
- Active Health Insurance License
- Medicare sales experience preferred
- Current AHIP certification or ability to complete required Medicare certifications
- Strong phone sales communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Ability to manage your own schedule, leads, follow-up sales pipeline
- Comfortable navigating multiple carrier websites, enrollment platforms CRM systems
- Strong attention to detail ability to maintain accurate client records
- Must maintain all required carrier certifications compliance requirements
