Job Description:
Join a growing financial services organization that is building its Product function from the ground up. As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will lead the discovery, strategy, development, and launch of new digital products, with a particular focus on AI, data, and technology solutions that improve how internal employees work.

This is not a traditional Product Manager role. The organization is looking for someone with significantly more technical depth than a typical Product Mangaer, someone who can move seamlessly from interviewing end users and defining product strategy to discussing architecture, APIs, integrations, data, AI, cloud platforms, and scalability with Engineering.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the strategy, development, and launch of new AI, data, and technology products focused on improving how internal employees work.
  • Lead true 0-to-1 product development, from discovery and validation through MVP, launch, measurement, and iteration.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-first solutions and evaluate build-vs.-buy options.
  • Partner closely with Engineering on architecture, APIs, integrations, data, cloud platforms, scalability, and technical tradeoffs.
  • Remain hands-on with Agile delivery, including user stories, backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, and other Scrum ceremonies.
  • Conduct end-user discovery to understand problems, workflows, and opportunities and translate findings into product requirements.
  • Define KPIs and adoption metrics, using data and feedback to guide product decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to establish priorities and drive products from concept through execution.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience leading digital, SaaS, data, AI, or technology products.
  • Demonstrated 0-to-1 product experience taking a completely new software/digital product from initial concept and discovery through development, launch, measurement, and iteration.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage Engineering on architecture, APIs, integrations, data, cloud platforms, scalability, and technical tradeoffs.
  • Meaningful hands-on experience with AI, professionally or personally. Examples may include building or running AI agents, vibe coding, AI-assisted prototyping, developing AI workflows, experimenting with LLMs, or creating AI-enabled products and tools.
  • Experience delivering products leveraging AI, machine learning, analytics, structured/unstructured data, or other data-intensive technologies.
  • Current or recent experience operating as a hands-on, full-stack Product Manager within an Agile/Scrum team.
  • Experience personally writing user stories, managing a product backlog, prioritizing work, and participating in Agile ceremonies.
  • Extensive product discovery experience, including personally interviewing end users or customers to understand problems, validate hypotheses, and determine whether solutions should be built.
  • Experience building internal employee-facing products, productivity tools, workflow solutions, operational platforms, or similar technology is strongly preferred.
  • Strong data-driven product management skills, including defining KPIs, analyzing usage/adoption, evaluating product-market fit or business impact, and iterating based on results.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make thoughtful decisions with incomplete information and adjust quickly as priorities evolve.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to move effectively between executive stakeholders, engineers, designers, business leaders, and end users.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, defend recommendations with evidence, and navigate executive or technical pushback constructively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare, energy, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience developing products or solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Experience partnering with Data Scientists or AI/ML teams.
  • Experience working in an early-stage company, innovation group, or newly established Product organization.
  • Demonstrated career stability and experience owning products long enough to launch, measure, and iterate on them.
Benefits and Perks:
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • 100% company paid medical, dental, and vision premiums covered by the organization for all employees and dependents
  • Retirement savings program with a 50% employer match on contributions up to IRS limits
  • Company-sponsored life, AD&D, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities
  • Opportunity to help build a new Product organization and shape how AI is used across the business
Your New Organization:

Join an established financial services organization investing heavily in digital innovation, AI, and new product development. As a founding Product leader, you'll help discover customer needs, build new products from the ground up, and shape an emerging Product organization while working across Product, Engineering, AI, data, and business strategy.
