Soergel's Home Accents Sales Associate

The Home Accents Associate provides friendly customer service while assisting guests with purchases in the Home Accents department. This position is responsible for operating the register, helping customers find merchandise, restocking products, and maintaining a clean, organized shopping area.

• Welcome and assist customers in the Home Accents department.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process customer purchases.
• Answer customer questions and provide product information.
• Restock merchandise and keep shelves neat, organized, and fully stocked.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when products need replenishing.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and checkout area.
• Assist with pricing and labeling merchandise as needed.
• Follow opening and closing procedures for the department.
• Support other retail departments during busy periods as needed.
• Provide a positive shopping experience by offering friendly, attentive customer service.
• Receiving packages, ensuring appropriate pricing, and reporting damages to management

• Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
