Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial real estate transactions from inception through post-closing
  • Assist with commercial loans, SBA loans, construction financing, and commercial purchase and sale transactions
  • Order and review title work, surveys, zoning reports, and due diligence materials
  • Prepare commercial loan and sale closing documents, including notes, security deeds, deeds, mortgages, financing statements, affidavits, resolutions, and closing statements
  • Coordinate closings with lenders, buyers, sellers, brokers, and attorneys
  • Review leases, tenant estoppels, SNDAs, and 1031 Exchange documentation
  • Handle wire transfers, disbursements, document recording, and post-closing responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the transaction process

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
  • Experience managing commercial real estate transactions from start to finish
  • Strong knowledge of title review, due diligence, and commercial closing procedures
  • Experience preparing commercial loan and purchase/sale documentation
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience with SBA and construction lending transactions
  • Familiarity with 1031 Exchanges, tenant estoppels, and SNDAs
  • Georgia commercial real estate experience
  • Notary Public or willingness to obtain
