Universal Health and Serenity Pathways (UHSP) is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead and oversee our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program in Washington, DC.

The Clinical Director is responsible for the clinical, operational, and regulatory oversight of the SUD program. This position provides leadership to clinical staff, ensures compliance with District of Columbia Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) regulations, monitors quality assurance activities, and supports program growth and development.

Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical supervision and leadership to counseling staff
• Oversee assessments, treatment planning, and service delivery
• Ensure compliance with DBH, Medicaid, and accreditation standards
• Conduct clinical documentation reviews and chart audits
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
• Monitor program outcomes and performance metrics
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Participate in executive leadership meetings
• Serve as the clinical liaison during audits, surveys, and inspections

Qualifications:
• Active independent clinical license in Washington, DC (LICSW, LPC, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment
• Strong knowledge of DBH regulations, clinical documentation, and quality management
• Experience supervising clinical staff
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
